First, a small amount of your blood is drawn (about the amount for a standard lab test). Then, it is placed into a centrifuge to spin at a very rapid rate, separating platelets from other components of the blood. These platelets are activated using one of two methods natural to your own body. The activation of platelets produces your very own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). This thick serum holds the stem cells capable of creating new tissue.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is similar to HA fillers, injected to sculpt the face. But, unlike fillers alone, PRP contains at least 8 growth factors that, over an extended period of time, continue their work as powerful rejuvenating agents.

By activating these growth factors, 3 parts of the aging process improve:

1. Skin’s color becomes a more “youthful” hue due to new blood vessel formation.
